We try (within reason!) to make your stay as memorable and stress free as possible. So with this in mind, we have listed below some of the services we offer...
Airport Transfer. As long as we have your flight details, we’re more than happy to collect, or drop you off. The service costs 250 rand (for the vehicle, not per person).
Breakfast. Served in the breakfast room. In summer it is also served under the oldest grapevine in the Western Cape and in winter next to the fireplace in the lounge. Served whenever you like!
Car hire. We can help organize car hire for you – either in advance or when you get here. The car is delivered to the hotel. The cost for a reasonable vehicle with air-conditioning, power steering and unlimited km is about 320 rand per day.
Drinks. Complimentary water, beer, and coke provided in the lounge for the thirsty.
DVD’s and music. Each room has a DVD player. We have a DVD library, from which you can borrow for free. Also, bring your own CD’s to play in the room.
Foreign Exchange. When we are flush, we’ll happily change money for you. When we’re running short, we’ll still change some, just not as much. The rates are very competitive.
Golf. We can help organise golf for you. Wednesday and Saturday are generally club days in Cape Town, so you might have a problem getting a game on those days.
Gym. A personal trainer operates from a small gym in Heritage Square. She is available for hourly hire. There is also a major gym about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. We have tickets available and they cost 40 rand.
Honeymoon. We organise lovely treats for honeymooners, but what we do is a secret...
Internet access. We have wireless access in all the rooms. It’s free!
Laundry. Same day service. Dry cleaning takes a day or two - we have to send it away.
Luggage Storage. If you are arriving very early or departing late, we are happy to store your luggage for you.
Massage. We have a wonderful (male) masseuse right here in Heritage Square. It’s heavenly! Cost is 300 rand per hour.
Parking. There is an open car park with 24-hour security in the square opposite. The cost is 25 rand per day, unlimited access.
Private lounges. Please use! One is bright and airy, the other cosy and warm with a fireplace.
Reception. There is 24-hour reception, so someone is always around to assist you.
Swimming pool. Alas we don’t have one. There is one nearby in Seapoint with a 50m salt-water pool – great for the serious swimmer.
Taxis. Readily available. If one isn’t waiting outside the hotel, we call them and they arrive within 5 minutes.
Telephone. International calls from your room cost a maximum of 5 rand per minute.
Tours. We can happily arrange a whole range of tours for you. Please see the information section!!
Weddings. We have hosted a few intimate weddings in the hotel. We can help organise one for you, and will arrange the minister, flowers, cake, photographer, etc. We charge a small fee for this service.
